The dark lips camouflage procedure is carried out in several stages. - Results last around 1-3 years. If you do not maintain it, the color fades naturally with time.
- Fading depends on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and your overall health.
- The healing process takes approximately 4-7 days. Each session should be performed 1 month apart.
- You can expect a slightly uneven lip line/shape, but once swelling dissipates, unevenness will disappear.
- Expect a bright color and a moderate swelling following the procedure. Swelling subsides within a few hours, brightness disappears once flaking is done (4-7 days).
- Numbing cream is applied during the procedure for your comfort, though pain levels vary from person to person.
- If you are prone to cold sores, consult your doctor for antiviral medications.
